Mavuika is also the first example of the new body base for the Lady body type category, which Lauma also uses. I do kind of wish they incorporated more of a phoenix or, for extra symbolism, a hummingbird. Maybe even have the hummingbird stuff appear in her second lifetime and draw attention to that difference to really hammer home the Huitzilopochtli aspect of her narrative. Like I can't get over how much I love the fact that they had Mavuika the warrior sacrificed to the Pyro Archon on multiple levels so the Pyro Archon could fend off the dark. It's such a clever incorporation of a major aspect of Aztec (or Nahua? Idk if this was independent of the empire) mythos, just like making the spirit world cognate into an extention of leyline and Celestia lore. People really don't appreciate the fact that on a lore level, Natlan is built on the foundation of all the teyvat world building that we got in the previous 4 versions. Hell, Natlan shares access to pure or unaligned elemental energy with Nod-Krai, which has a similar level of technology, so that also helps Natlan fit in.
I really like Mavuika design. I personally don'tmind the fanservice, and I also think she blends into her nation playable charas and npcs just fine. And she doesn't look like zzz chara, because I've seen the mods and she doesn't look right for me because her ethnic ornaments seems out of place in zenless style. 🧘♀️
The only thing I really don't like about her design is that she only gets her nightsoul markings for a few seconds after burst. I love all the different nightsoul tattoos and it sucks that we dont get to see hers really
Man, I love Mavuika, she is so badass and she is the most Archon of Archons he got, makes sense too cause she is human and has a limited lifespan and her country is under siege compared to the others.
Still one of the best designs in the game, i love how well integrated the 8points sun is in her clothes and especially like the dragon effects on her bike whenever you do any kind of special movement❤
Mavuika's design really grew on me but I still have issues with the weird zipper, the random cut outs and how pale she is. Plus her bike is like really ugly I wish it looked more stripped back.

Natlan characters have such complicated outfits, it is almost a competition. No wonder the Archon would have this weird super complicated jumpsuit.
