I might be wrong tho, but recently, i had finished one of the quests in Natlan. About that pyro guy who defeated the pyro sovereign, isn't he half dragon himself?
now I wonder if they modeled Zhongli's and Liyue's history after the Chinese one… it's often memed about how bloody it was and how many casualties it counted
There's this one LINGERING thought that I have with Raiden and it all hinges whether the populace knows that there are only TWO of the original seven alive (prior to the start of Genshin), as we were told of the information, but I cannot find or remember any NPC know how many of the original seven they know are alive.
If they do, that means that people ARE aware of the twin Raiden sisters, meaning that the story of the twin Raiden sisters makes such a convoluted mess.
What? Natlan didn't have that little boy as their Pyro archon back then. It was mavuika. The archon war happened around 500 years ago. The Pyro sovereign was defeated way before that.
i do believe that according to Venti Tsarita was also a key figure in the Archon War.. Although m not too sure about details myself… our cryo archon suffered a lot cuz of that war
'venti was just the last one standing' uh… Doesn't the lore on the fragment of decarabians tower say that the 'song of freedom' shattered it when boreas fought for ages and couldn't do crap?
IMO i think the archon war was a trap by Phanes to expose the most powerful beings on Teyvat. The gnoses were bait. Phanes wanted to get them all to kill each other with the most dangerous ones left standing, then hand them each a gnosis so he could keep a close eye on them. Venti might've been a helpless wind spirit during the rebellion, but he did also get a portion of Istaroth's power sometime shortly after, and became one of the most powerful archons — blowing islands off of the timeline, terraforming, etc. Egeria also seems to be a plant from Naberius, since Naberius made her. The only ones who weren't planted were Makoto/Ei (proven to be incredibly strong without a gnosis), Rukkhadevata (also dangerously strong when it comes to Irminsul and her ability to manipulate collective memory), and Zhongli, who I'm sure Phanes had his eye on for a long time, considering he's not from Teyvat and has an innate grasp on alchemy and creation that would make him a dangerous rival to Celestia. We still don't know fully about the Tsaritsa…but I have my guesses lol.

Thank you kind soul, for explaining this so simply 😭😭😭😭
So basically zhongli has seen everything
You forget that archon war occured 500 years back and the Rebellion in mondstadt occured 2000 years ago
It's the worst in liyue cause there's a lot of gods there
Despite Mond being very close to Liyue, no gods want or dare to interfere between Boreas and Decarabian

It was a fight of the previous archons
We got 2 top fragers and the rest r just bush campers
All of the winners have the support of one of the four shades anyway, so it's not really a contest
What a scam gods we have
Basically Zhongli is the hardcore one
now I wonder if they modeled Zhongli's and Liyue's history after the Chinese one… it's often memed about how bloody it was and how many casualties it counted
lol not the title just ignoring raiden shogun 💀
Zhongli Stans…honestly 😒
Teyvat has no democracy 🦅🦅🦅🦅
Raiden EI is stronger than her sister Makoto and did the fighting while Makoto was more suited for governing

…Ei. Her name is Ei…
It's not misleading because it was the archons of the era, not the archons we have currently learn your facts.
Not entirely true. We don't know if they didn't fisght some other lesser gods just like Zhongli.
the narrator is the best cure against constipation, jfc, what a pain to hear it

Archon'ed war

that accent is so mamma mia
Not missleading if it's a war for the seat of the Archon
Venti didn't fight but capitalised on the fight between Andrius and Decarabian.
Eageria herself didn't fight but basically took over what Remus conquered.
Fun fact Remus was originally from the desert who fled after Deshret conquered his home
Sumeru is the only nation that didn't have any conflicts probably because of the union of the three God King's ruling together

Zhongli is most likely not from teyvat either if you read his lore.
