Before the Dendro update, Hoyoverse accidentally buffed environmental Burning damage so hard that stepping on a flaming leaf meant instant death. We’re talking 5,000 DPS just for standing still! While that bug was fixed long ago, you can still bring back the nightmare today. If you want to “troll” your friends (or enemies) in Co-op, all you need is Bennett and the Apep Weekly Boss. When the Dendro bubble appears, drop Bennett’s burst and watch the “Lethal Burning” reaction do the rest.

      Also higher EM makes the damage higher, I think. There was the thing with Nahida NA while co-op teammates were cooking that you could use to kill people mercilessly

      Fun fact, the same character will produce different burn damage based on the region you are in, with the mentioned domain being the highest. That’s because grass, has levels. And for some unholy reason, the grass in the domain is level 95! And reactions scale off level and EM, so high EM character + high level grass = instant death

      as I remember in 1.0 there was a bug where burning grass damage did not scale with world level so it did 5 per tick then when it was fixed grass burning did 10 times the damage. at that time people didn’t have good overworld healers so chip damage was lethal.
      no it did not change ever since we just got better at the game.
