I’ve been thinking for a long time the heavenly principles are just dead. I mean they haven’t currently done anything indicating they’re still alive, the real question would be who killed them
one of the probably most thought theories is that we are still stuck in the samsara back in sumeru and whatever happened was just the travellers imagination like natlan might be dead to the abyss or half of the got consumed, Fontaine got dissolved and neuvilette didn't have enough time to save them and for nodkrai either they got perished with rerir but if they survived the would not have a moon godess cus dottore would've kidnapped her and she probably would've gotten stuck in the moon gates Forever without the travellers help
I would hate the time loop theory cause than it would just be amphoreous all over again and mihoyo is already riding down a slippery slope of unoriginality. I like the cultuvation and restoration theory better
Everyone says paimon is also day but I have a theory…what if paimon was sent down from celestia to keep an eye on us since we’re different and her mission was secretly to keep us from our sibling and every time we sleep she goes up and spills info to celestia about the latest things 🤔
imagine, in the end we turn back to the monstad and someone (maybe a new character who KNOWS things) say: "It's been a while and no one aged a day, don't you see? "
I think our sibling is a clone. Since we never see them exit the ship and they have records inside teyvat, so they're a part of this world and NOT a descender. And also, they didn't have any memories upon awakening
Lowkey I still think that what if at the very very very end honkai impact 3rd, Genshin will get together to defeat this loop thing or find the truth because the theory of Teyvat being a loop and abyss the remains of the original world is so similar to Honkai impact 3rd
I mean visions are granted if your ambition is strong enough to capture a God's gaze.. So maybe they give visions to the ambitious people to make sure they don't get too ambitious?
My personal opinions each theory: 1. No it isn’t upside down, but entire planet, its sun and now moon are inside Dyson sphere. 2. Close, it probably is in eternal recurrence where civilizations rise, advance and are wiped out. Or rather was in one before war of funerary flame and archon war. 3. Since Nibelung brought forbidden knowledge from the Abyss outside Tayvet, we can speculate that local abyss mirrors greater one from outside cosmos. Some speculate that void realm is really Nibelung’s decaying corpse that fell between human (current world) and light (original world of dragons) realm. 4. Probably or it is in coma/braindead. If we go along line that HP and its 4 shades are really advanced AI than its software might have broke down. 5. Visions are silvers of seven sovereigns elemental authority and are theorized to help harvest human souls. Supposedly.
Hear me out. Venti has the exact same VA as ISTAROTH in every single language. He also appears to have both a masculine build combined with feminine look (I’m just saying) , giving that he may be Istaroth.
Honestly the Principles being dead I don't think would surprise many people at this point. Focalors literally destroyed the throne of Hydro and Fontaine faced no repercussions
A theory I've had for a while is that the gnosis and visions can be used by Celestia to control the archons and vision holders, that they're trying to grow an army for some reason and at the end of Genshin we would have to fight, and probably take down, all of our friends being controlled by Celestia.
Imagine the traveller reaches celestial and realizes its been dead ever since the war of the funerary flame and tevyat is made of memories of the abyss sibling BUT THATS JUST A THEORY, A GAME THEORY
I noticed a very strong parallel between Teyvat and Lordran from Dark Souls. Heavenly Principles seems way too similar to Gwyn. Irminsul plays role of First Flame. Like Gwyn, Phanes overthrew dragons ruling the world. His laws disrupted natural order of Teyvat, like Gwyn did with Lordran by linking First Flame. Four Shades are Four Lords. Ronova is Nito (Lord soul of Death), Naberius is Witch of Izalith (Lord soul of Life), Istaroth is Seath (seeking true immortality and experiments), Asmoday is Four Kings (They have Abyss/Void powers). Traveler is the Chosen Undead. Something tells me that Abyss may not be as evil as it is painted. The corruption could as well be syndrome of fighting back against Celestia's order. Curse of Immortality reeks of Darksign (Khaenri'ahns are humans born from dark(?)). Something tells me that only way to heal Teyvat is to destroy Irminsul, like extinguishing First Flame set Lordran on the way to heal.
I’m pretty sure the abyss one was disproven by Alice. She told us it was the anguish of every timeline that never came to be, trying to destroy the timeline that did succeed

There's also one that Teyvat is hell
One of my own theories is, that the only way to end this time loop is to overthrow the heavenly principles. Who agrees with me?
HOLY SHIT IM EARLY
Celestia being dead would be such a good plot twist.
U forgot the best one…… "Paimon being the Final boss"

Well now we know that The Abyss is the Hatred Of the Fates that didnt happen vut other than that everything is great

Stuck in a time loop… Meanwhile this theori just like amphoreus stuck in a time loop too…

Hear me out: Teyvat IS a time loop, but when the traveler enters teyvat they throw everything off and break it
this is something I love about Genshin community they always come with a lot of interesting theory!
teyvat is confirmed to be a planet not upside-down people

i thought celestia was where the moon sisters are resting?
I think there should be more traveler theories. Something about them is unsettling, am i the only one?
the abyss being the original world could make sense, what with we not knowing the true mindset of Nibelung or the sovereigns dragons.
imagine, in the end we turn back to the monstad and someone (maybe a new character who KNOWS things) say: "It's been a while and no one aged a day, don't you see? "
Does anyone know what the upside down theory is??

Little fact or the German version of genshin, visions are literally called "göttliches auge" which means Divine/God's eye so….
