I think the part so off about Nahida and Lynette is that the eye colours are switched over. Nahida having eyes different to her outfit, while Lynette having the same coloured eyes as her outfit make one's eyes pop out more than they should and the other's eye not pop out at all.
Also, their hair colours being so close to each other means that the hair on each others' head makes each of them seem a slightly off, without standing out.
Honestly I like skirknwifh nahidas colors.. it looks like what nahida would look like in her teenage years

I love the Lynette/Nahida one, but I think what makes them both look strange is because their colors have inverted. It’s basically like switching from dark mode to light mode on a software. Both look great, but you’re so used to the other one that it’s jarring.
