100% Fontaine treated us the worst, Both nations had Archons who had beef with us as soon as we arrived but Fontaine felt like not a single soul was there for us meanwhile the Kamisato clan & Watatsumi Island were safe heavens & had people who were ride or dies for us.
Might be a hot take but I think the nation wjere we were essentially made a war criminal after a week might have been a bit more unpleasant than the rest
fontaine's entry was special because we had just gone through TWO big tumultuous encounters revolving around archons… and the Traveler was (understandably) a bit on edge. After having just spent who knows how long in that 'groundhog day' scenario and saving Nahida… and before that having to go personally spank some sense into Ei in her cosmic safe space… one could forgive the Traveler for still being in 'defensive mode' when they felt threatened by Furina.
But yeah… Inazuma was a pretty bad first impression. The authorities were just super aggro towards outsiders, taking every chance to either trick you, delay you or leave you hanging… and even when you got out of Ritou Island, the first impression doesn't improve much beyond there either with the vision hunt decree.
Inazuma was like: 'Oh, you are an outlander, who doesn't approve our ways? Well, That's what we call state terrorism to be punished via execution over here.'
Even before we joined the civil war, the army in Inazuma, nobles, and average joes were against us for being foreigners. Even the people who knew our feats still treated us as lesser and tried to sabotage us with a smile. Hell, Thoma lived there for YEARS and was welcomed by a lot of people, yet STILL treated by guards (even at the place he worked at and knew since he joined) with disrespect and looked down on for being a foreigner.
At least every other place welcomed us when we first got there before treating us like criminals (amber doesn’t count, she was being overly cautious for barely two minutes). Inazuma literally never welcomed us until the end of the Inazuma arc.
Well don't forget that Zhongli knew about the travelers sibling but would not tell shit even after helping because of a contract. Like that shit just sucks. Or the ripped posters in Mondstadt searching for the sibling… Real nice people.
Other nations: Welcome Traveler! Inazuma: The Tri-Commission has declared you a terrorist. Wherever Inazuma has jurisdiction, you will be shot on sight.
I don't think Natlan was THAT isolated. The leylines? Sure. But while the Natlanese prefer to stay inside, other nationalities can come in. So information and trade is as freely shared the same way as any of the other nations. Maybe not as fast because of the desert traveling but it never limit anyone from going in there.
Unlike Inazuma since the Sakoku Decree. No one was allowed to go out, and no one allowed to go in. And the whole area around it out at the sea is in perpetual storm that no ship can get through it except the one that survived a leviathan – which is Beidou's ship and her crew.

I don’t think so. Inazuma was bad for everyone,so I consider liyue and fontaine the worst
Oh Inazuma for sure, you literally get dragged into the civil war and have to fight the Archon herself, no other nation has done that

It's going to be interesting to see what the last nation is going to be like, probably depending on how things go in Nod-Krai
Clearly the answer is Snezhnaya.
Can't wait to be immediately jumped as soon as we step foot in Snezhnaya
venti mentioned
How is Nathan more isolated than Inazuma
Not too shocking that inazuma treated the traveler the worst. It was middle in a civil war everyone is on edge by default.

I would like to remind you that up until Natlan, we were nearly a criminal in every nation.

Natlan was the most isolated region….
Me:..Inazuma…
my dumbahh said nod-krai cuz we kept being bombarded by the damn fatuis
Inazuma was like: 'Oh, you are an outlander, who doesn't approve our ways? Well, That's what we call state terrorism to be punished via execution over here.'
Inazuma was–and still is–The Worst
Didn’t we just run away when morax died ?

We were treated like criminals in Inazuma….
Traveler: arrives in Inazuma
Inazuma: … and I took that personally.
I already knew the answer before hearing it. We had to be literally snuck into Inazuma by a pirate
Inazuma traumatized me but I came back stronger
Snezhnaya is gonna be even crazier seeing how many problems traveler caused the fatui🥀
I found that being famous in teyvat made our adventure later on a little boring. I like it when traveler was just some random stranger helping out.
ok but liyue was just traveler's fault
did nothing yet still ran away
Well you see inazuma is easy picking because of how Raiden was. I believe it was sumeru. You know having us go underground over and over
made me stronger
Inazuma was like "get out of my yarddd!" Struck by lightning 😂
Inazuma. Hands down. We walked into the wrong neighbourhood. Liyue was a close second. But Inazuma reigns supreme
w8 someone asking you who you are is already being hostile? i gues i wont be looking at anyone anymore it might also be considered being hostile
My first impression of Inazuma: 🇰🇵
