That were fire 52 hours btw and a year full anticipation for every next chapter.
I mean, even Dawei himself scolded the HSR team because ghey made that arc too long 😂
It should've been maybe 45~48 hours. I mean let's be real, the senate and Cerydra's part of the story it's so boring. We can skip all the senate one, and just keep the part that they held that stupid trial with Anaxa laughing. And cut half of the Cerydra's and Hyacine's (old amphoreus) story.
They did have a great pace at the start. Then it started to slow down in Anaxa's part and it's just down hill from there. Then we have Phainon, which is still PEAK. Then after that is a blur. Then I woke up again after we met Evernight 😂
if a story is fun, it's easy to sit through even 52 hours. which is pretty subjective… I was very grateful for the skip button. some people felt gripped at every angle, for me that was penacony. I'm happy ampho is over lol

I started Amphoreus when it was released and still haven’t caught up because I got stuck on one of those stupid griffin lion things, it took me a week to beat it, and then I got stuck on a lion and the Pegasus, and that took me three months, and then I got stuck on ANOTHER LION!! Why are there so many of those dumb lion enemies???
Suddenly 12 hours to fully complete the story in Genshin seems like a blessing

Amphoreus is TRAUMATIZING – Good story but SAD story.
So no excuse for not being up to date with the ZZZ storyline, right? Asking for a fish.
I've only made it up to the Anaxa/Castorice part of Amphoreus and after hearing how long what I have left is I have no motivation to play it because of how much time I need. 52 hours is insaneeee. That's the average JRPG length if you're not doing 100%. Speedrunners are gonna hate this thing
As someone who skipped a good chunk of amphoreus, it still took me days
52 hours of nonsense too.
All of the sudden, "I've been waiting for this" feels way too real. Damn, 52 hours is half a Persona game.

Im not gonna lie, the end of amohoreus i was like wow I have been doing this lore for SEVER HOURS STRAIGHT it cant be much longer 😀 and googled it to be told "haha you're barely halfway thru this single chapter"

This is kinda why i dont want to go back to HSR, even penacony was long in the tooth. half of that shoudl ahve been personal quests for characters. not the main campaign.

So… all of Amphoreus story length is practically 1/2 of the WHOLE length of ALL THE AQs in Genshin (I counted, and all the AQs should take around 110 hours to complete with minimal sidetracking)
Difference here would be the skip button, honestly. The boring parts in Genshin cannot be skipped, which makes the experience worse than the 52 hour long Main Story in Hsr.
I honestly consider a story really bad if it has to be repetitive and longer than 8 hours. We knew they were all dead, we knew it was all a simulation, or maybe it was just me as a Hi3 vet who's played these games before-

Dw CY YU i did it too but I skipped everything bc of how long it took, i completed all the acts in 20 days just to get 100 wishes for Phainon and i got him Cyrene and his weapon
