He felt loud, talkative, genuinely unhinged, and completely different from any other playable character personality we’ve had in Mondstadt. The voice direction during those initial cutscenes felt completely distinct.

Agreed, but tbf he WAS younger in the teaser since it's set before the expedition to Nod-Krai. He might indeed have been 14 or 16-ish more likely. So it's cool to see his development imo.

Yeah, Lohen is a child assassin. Who else are children assassins in Genshin Impact? Children of the Hearth located in Fontaine. Such as Lyney and Linette and Frienrie. For plot twist, Lohen might be cousins with Eula.
