Durin Is BROKEN! Top 10 BEST Teams You MUST See Before Pulling | Genshin Impact 6.2

With version 6.2 livestream and the 
confirmed banners for 6.2 finally giving us Durin’s full official kit, it is 
now the perfect time to sit down and discuss every single one of Durin’s best teams, 
ranging from the strongest premium setups to the most reliable F2P options in order to 
understand exactly where he fits in the meta. Starting with number 10, we have Durin teams 
paired with Anemo units such as Wanderer and Xiao, because thanks to Durin’s powerful Anemo 
resistance shred, both of these characters now actually have an alternative option 
besides Furina, as Durin not only buffs them extremely well, but also synergises with 
their rotations far more smoothly than expected. The strongest version of this team features C6 
Faruzan, Durin and Bennett, although if you don’t have C6 Faruzan, you can comfortably replace her 
with Venti, especially considering his kit changes which improved his synergy with Durin quite a bit, 
and overall these teams perform around 70,000 DPS. Running Durin together with Furina becomes 
difficult because you are forced to include a healer, which means you have to drop either 
Faruzan or Venti, and doing so results in losing Faruzan’s buffs, Venti’s buffs, 
and also the Viridescent Venerer shred, ultimately making the rotation weaker and 
creating a small but noticeable damage loss. Compared directly to Furina, Durin teams 
don’t perform drastically higher or lower, meaning the Durin version and the Furina version 
of these teams stay very close in output, so you should view Durin here not as a strict upgrade, 
but rather as a strong alternative option. At number 9 we have the Hexenzirkel 
DPS units such as Venti and Klee, both of whom receive significant 
improvements with Durin thanks to his Arcane Stage mechanic which boosts the entire 
team’s damage, resulting in roughly 75,000 DPS. For Venti, his best setup as a 
main DPS includes Venti, Durin, Faruzan, and Bennett, although you can 
replace Faruzan with Mona because her Omen buff aligns perfectly 
with Venti’s burst multipliers. For Klee, her best build is an Overload 
composition using Durin, Fischl, and Chevreuse, and thanks to Klee’s free constellations, 
she can even reach around 90,000 DPS at C2. Before moving to number 8, LootBar is

especially the setup with Xilonen, Durin, and Mona, which can reach approximately 
90,000 DPS when timed correctly. This team’s difficulty lies in synchronising 
Navia’s skill with Mona’s Omen extension, but the reward is massive because 
Durin’s Geo Resistance Shred is extremely rare and provides a huge 
spike in Navia’s damage output. If you lack Xilonen, you can use Albedo plus Bennett for around 80,000 DPS 
or Chiori for around 70,000. At number 7 we have Mono Pyro teams, 
particularly the powerful trio of Venti, Xilonen, and Mavuika, currently the 
strongest Mono Pyro team in the game, capable of 90–100,000 DPS when performing 
double dash cancel Mavuika combos. In this team, Venti acts as a quick 
swap unit providing the Viridescent Venerer shred while Mavuika stays on 
field, and Durin’s 35% Pyro Resistance Shred is the key mechanic which pushes 
this team’s ceiling incredibly high. Although Arlecchino can be used here, Durin’s synergy is much stronger 
with Mavuika than with Arlecchino. Speaking of Mavuika, her 
Overload team with Fischl, Durin, and Iansan also reaches around 
105,000 DPS, but it requires flawless execution and double cancel precision, so many 
players may find the rotation too demanding. At number 6 we have Neuvillette Burgeon 
teams, which actually outperform his Vape teams when paired with Durin, because 
the Burgeon version reaches around 100,000 DPS due to how unbelievably 
strong Lauma is in Burgeon reactions. Even though this is one of Neuvillette’s strongest 
teams after his freeze setup with Escoffier, most of the damage in the Burgeon version actually 
comes from Durin himself, and you also need to switch Durin into full EM Sands, EM Goblet, 
and EM Circlet to optimise the reaction damage. Now entering the top 5 teams — remember these 
teams are extremely close to each other, and your results may vary depending 
on your artifacts and execution. Number 5 is Kinich Burning teams, where Durin is 
now the absolute best support because with 5 shots you can reach up to 110,000 DPS thanks to Durin’s 
massive Dendro resistance shred and high damage, though missing the last quickscope 
can drop you to around 100,000 DPS. Number 4 is Durin as a main DPS, which may 
surprise many players because Durin has one of the highest charge attack multipliers 
among sword users, making him extremely viable as an on-field carry when paired with 
Bennett, Mona, and Furina in Vape setups, or with Sucrose and Citlali in Melt 
setups, reaching around 95–100,000 DPS. His absolute strongest team as a main DPS uses 
Yelan, Fischl, and Bennett, reaching roughly 110,000 DPS, and if you plan to play him this way, 
you must level his Normal Attack talent to 10. Number 3 is Arlecchino Overload with Fischl, 
Durin, and Chevreuse, a team capable of 110,000 DPS with much more consistency than Kinich 
or Durin DPS due to its simple rotation and Durin’s 25% Pyro and Electro resistance shred, 
which significantly boosts reaction damage. Arlecchino Vape teams with Durin are not 
upgrades because Durin needs his full Black Mode potential and Vape setups weaken his 
contribution, and he also cannot be used in Melt teams with Arlecchino because his Hydro 
application is too fast, causing melts to fail. Number 2 is Mualani teams, which can reach 115,000 
DPS. Mualani was already strong with Xiangling, but Durin offers far more damage and smoother 
rotations, especially when playing him as a Black Mode damage dealer alongside Albedo 
plus Xilonen, reaching above 110,000 DPS. You can also swap Albedo for Mona to extend 
Omen duration inside Arcane Transcendence, which boosts total damage close to 115,000, 
making this Mualani’s strongest team yet. Finally, number 1 is Varesa Overload, 
the strongest Overload team in the game, and the best possible team for both Varesa 
and Durin because with correct combos, Varesa can reach up to 120,000 DPS thanks to Durin’s 
massive buffs and personal damage contribution. Other teams also benefit from Durin, including 
Flins teams with Sucrose which reach around 95,000, Chlorinde Overload teams which hit around 
100,000, and Chasca Melt or Overvape teams which can reach around 95,000, but are heavily dependent 
on RNG due to inconsistent melt ownership. With all that said, he is one of the units whose 
actual peak value will be with future characters, especially Varka and Nicole, who are 
predicted to be Hexenzirkel members. Also, seeing the White Adeptus being 
a Geo DPS, and Durin currently being the best Geo support alongside Xilonen, 
the value of Durin becomes even higher. He has the potential to be in some 
of the strongest future teams, making him an insane unit considering the value
